It is owned and run by Gillian Pickford, with support from husband Neil, help from mother-in-law Josie
and occasional assistance from sons Gerald and Timothy.
We are pleased to announce that at our Quality in Tourism inspection in June 2016 we again achieved
Silver and Breakfast Awards and maintained our Three Star Quality rating.
Our hospitality mission began in 2010 with two en-suite rooms upstairs and we now include a third room downstairs.
This is especially suitable for those with mobility issues.
Many of our guests comment on the excellent standard of cleanliness in all areas. These standards are wonderfully
upheld by our two housekeepers – Jo and Roz – who are always happy to help.
We are content with our 3-star rating from Quality in Tourism because our rooms are cosy, but not large.
We do everything we can to promote a 'best it can possibly be' feel in everything else.
We hope our guests will feel relaxed and refreshed during their stay with us. For all requests within reason we say
'If we can, we will' and for breakfast we like you to have 'as much, or as little, as you like'
so that you feel comfortably prepared for your day ahead.
After five years of welcoming and serving guests from all parts of the UK and further afield, our house has been refreshed
and refurbished this year and we are looking forward to entertaining visitors old and new in the future.
We look forward to welcoming you in 2018 !
I do not know what the criteria is for an award of 3 stars but I would suggest that this B&B is beyond 3 stars.
In a nutshell I would not go anywhere else, this is perfect. It is a fantastic B&B, clean, well looked after, in a great location, good breakfast, free Wi-Fi, TV, brew kit including biscuits, en-suite ablutions, friendly and helpful owners, you would have to be totally pedantic and on a mission to complain in order to find anything wrong here.
I stayed here for 5 nights whilst on business and it was just what I needed to help me get sorted out both physically and mentally at the end of each day.

We stayed here on a Saturday evening and found it to be excellent.
We stayed in the downstairs garden room which was perfect. Clean, modern, spacious.
There was also an excellent breakfast served. Highly recommended. Great value for money.

About a ten minute walk from the town centre so pretty close by.
Very friendly helpful people who also had storage space for our bikes. Lovely clean rooms and bathroom. Very comfortable beds in the twin I stopped in and a lovely breakfast in the morning. Excellent value for money.

We have been coming to Hunter's Hall for several years when visiting friends and family in Beverley. It is THE only place to stay in Beverley! Lovely clean rooms, very quiet, parking, close to the town centre, a very warm welcome from Gillian and a fabulous breakfast!
What more could you want?

Very friendly and helpful couple running a good business here. The accommodation is comfortable and clean and the breakfast fantastic. I would highly recommend. It's a pleasant ten minute walk into the centre of Beverley and far enough away not to be constantly disturbed through the night by the charms of the minster bells.

Stayed here whilst on business in Berverley and enjoyed a restful and pleasant night. The rooms were modern, very clean, well equipped and spacious, on par / better than some 3* hotel rooms. Hosts were welcoming and attended to all needs / requests. Good choice for breakfast both in continental and cooked - Full English very tasty and plentiful. Thank you and will certainly be back next time I visit Beverley.

I stayed for one night at Hunters Hall with a friend. Gillian was welcoming and helpful, parking was convenient and the location is an easy walk to the town centre.
The rooms were spotless and comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast was delicious and service was friendly and prompt. Would definitely stay there again.

For me the sign of a good place to stay is if you would go back again. The answer - a resounding yes please! Hunter's Hall is spotlessly clean with a homely feel. Gillian was a great host,. Roz her cook and housekeeper was a gem, breakfast was cooked and served to perfection with high quality ingredients.
My friend and I are both disabled so had the downstairs garden room at the back. Our own small lounge with Patio doors to a gorgeous garden was perfect. Twin bedded room was well laid out with comfy bed and good quality bedding. Wet room was an added bonus with toilet and hand basin again spotless.
Parking on the drive made access easy with a path to the back of the house via a wheelchair friendly ramp. Loved it so much want to go back, this time with hubby so he doesn't feel left out.
Thanks for all the care and attention, we felt very happy and will be back.

A friend and I were planning to visit Beverley Folk festival and, being of limited mobility were on the look out for a reasonably priced accessible B&B to stay in.
We stayed in the Garden Room: a twin room with en-suite wet room and lounge, accessed either through the house or from the beautifully maintained and accessible garden
The premises were absolutely spotless and tastefully decorated, our hosts were friendly, the breakfasts were perfection, easily the best I've had in years and I can't think of one thing that would have made our stay better, other than maybe staying for a couple more nights! Highly recommended.

My parents had a 2 night stay in the garden suite( as my mother is disabled), when they came to see their new grandchild. The suite was very clean and suitable for my mothers mobility issues.
The hosts are very welcoming,The breakfast was hearty and tasty. This B&B is great value and would recommend to all.

We stayed here for one night and were the only guests staying which was nice.
We were given a warm welcome and given plenty of information about the hotel and the location of the venue we were going to that evening. We also gave our breakfast order at this point, something which I would probably prefer to do in the morning as you might change your mind.
The room was immaculate and comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and again very clean. The room had a great selection of drinks and a tub of delicious cookies!
The room did get a little warm at night, (perhaps time to change to the summer duvet), and the room would benefit from black out curtains. In addition to the cooked breakfast we had pre-ordered, there were also cereals, fruit etc to choose from. The cooked breakfast was very nice, although we didn't love the sausages and it would have been good to have the toast when the breakfast arrived, as it came when we had almost finished.
Overall, we would definitely stay here again if in Beverley and would recommend for anyone wishing to stay. The host's are very helpful and welcoming.
There is also parking available and the location is good.

We had a two-night stay in the twin room and rate it one of the very best B&Bs we've ever stayed in. Everything in the room was perfect - comfortable beds; spotlessly clean; hot shower; complimentary toiletries.
Breakfast was delicious and served by friendly, helpful staff. They were very accommodating about booking-in time and looking after our cases until we were ready to get our train.
It's well-placed for all that the lovely town of Beverley has to offer. Just delightful in every way!
